Description

A black tea blend of Keemun and Lapsang Souchong has a history that goes back hundreds of years. In the city of Xian in central China one can see an historical marker that is acknowledged to be the beginning of the Silk Road – the trail that leads to central Asia. One of the commodities taken along the Silk Road was tea. As it would take months to make the 6000 mile journey from the Chinese border to Russia and it was said that the teas took on the smoky taste of the campfires. This unique flavored tea has slightly toasty notes and a smoky flavor.
