Our tearoom, located in the Seneca Center off of Beechurst Ave. in Morgantown, WV, hosts a variety of events, including but not limited to baby and bridal shower brunches, Mother’s Day brunch, retirement and birthday parties and other special events.

All special events hosted at The Tea Shoppe are allotted a two hour time slot.* Our main dining room seats up to 40 guests comfortably. For a more intimate occasion, try our private dining room that seats up to 18 guests, comfortably. You are welcome to decorate our dining rooms for your special event, but please no confetti or glitter. Balloons and party favors are welcome. You may also bring in your own cake. (We do not charge a cake-cutting fee.) No other outside food or drink is permitted. Upon prior request, we will be happy to provide a gift table.

For larger groups, we suggest selecting the menu in advance. Our “Tea-Ristas” will assist you in selecting a tea service that best suites you and your guests. However, groups smaller than ten may find that choosing from our menu individually, during the event, works best. We are happy to box up any leftover food at the end of your special event.

Reservation Details:

· To reserve the main dining room your special event will need to host a minimum of 25 guests. We have availability Mondays – Fridays before 5 p.m. or after 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Evenings and Sundays are available upon request.

· A $75 non-refundable room fee is required if your event is scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday and any evening after 5PM. This will hold your date.

· A final guest head count** is required 72 hours prior to your scheduled special event. Dining room set-up and food preparation will be completed for the final head count provided.

· Your balance - the cost of the tea service chosen per person, plus tax and 18% gratuity - is due at the beginning of the party.
